How the software fee is billed

There's a monthly software fee. By default we collect it Stripe-to-Stripe — transferred from your own Stripe balance, like paying a supplier (no card fees). A card or bank account (ACH) is required to activate your account, and is used as a fallback only if the transfer fails 3 times (so the fee is always collectable, even in a slow month).
